I'd appreciate the accessment of some other programs such as Shredder 7.04 and/or others regarding the positional judgement out of this unorthodox French. I'm slightly suspicious of Deep Fritz's evaluation of Bg5 (slightly favored)after 20 minutes. From White's perspective 9. Bg5 doesn't look that bad but it seems to perhaps lose a tempo and help Black's development after 9...Qd6. (Deep Fritz after about 30-35 minutes changed and slightly favored 9. Qd2) Analysis by Deep Fritz: 1. = (-0.12): 9.Qd2 Nd7 10.0-0 a6 11.Re1 0-0 12.Ng5 Re8 13.Bxd5 Bxd5 2. = (-0.22): 9.Bg5 Qd6 10.Bd2 0-0 11.0-0 Nd7 12.Re1 N5f6 3. = (-0.25): 9.Bd2 Qf6 10.d4 Nf4 11.Bxf4 Qxf4 4. ³ (-0.28): 9.Bxd5 Qxd5 10.0-0 c5 11.Re1 Qh5 12.Re3 Nd7 13.Bb2 Bxf3 5. ³ (-0.31): 9.Ng5 0-0 10.Qh5 h6 11.Ne4 Nf6 12.Qf3 Nxe4 [D]wKe1,Qd1,Nf3,Bc1,c4,Ra1,h1,Pa3,c2,c3,d3,f2,g2,h2/bKe8,Qd8,Nb8,d5,Bb7,Ra8,h8,Pa7,b6,c7,e6,f7,g7,h7
