Hi, The corus tournament is an another event at the icc chess server Corus Chess Tournament - 9th till 25th of January 2004. Many icc admins are busy during this time. http://www.coruschess.com/ My suggestion january 31 and february 1st 2004 Peter, the best mode for a swiss chess tournament is an odd number of rounds. Last cct5, we are lucky for the pairings of the final 9th round :). Another problem was the extra time for a possible tie break. see cct5. volker
