I have experimented with various settings with Genius 7 and have found a couple that simply blow away the default. Phoenix Genius is one example yet when I played against CM9 SKR it didn't translate it seems to that much of an improvement. I have discovered another setting that is much better than Phoenix Genius so far at game/10 after 36 games Genius X has won 23 and lost only 2! Here is my question. Is CM9 SKR so strong that even though the new settings are without a doubt MUCH stronger than the default it has no effect because the two programs are in an entirely different class? Are engine engine matches useless? Does CM9 SKR take up too much processor even with ponder off? I have not played any games with the new settings against any other program yet.
