Rules: 1. There is no entry fee. 2. It's over on November 22 at midnight Eastern (US) Standard Time. 3. You may win only one prize. 4. The objective is to checkmate Pocket/Palm Chess Genius in the shortest number of moves. There will be a "Palm/Cell Phone" Division and "Pocket PC Division". 5. Within each division, there are 6 categories. The categories are based on time. Instant One Second 5 Second 15 Second 30 Second 60 Second You may enter as many divisions or categories you want - but you will only win one one prize - the 2nd place winner will get the prize, should the first place winner have already won. There are 12 prizes and there will be 12 winners. All the prizes are the same. In the event of tie, the earliest submission will be awarded the prize. The priority of division is : Pocket PC Palm/Cell Phone The priority of categories (level) is : 60 Second 30 Second 15 Second 5 Second One Second Instant The priority is the order in which the prizes will be awarded. 6. All entries must be submitted via email. I am not responsible for lost emails. The subject heading must contain the words Pocket Chess Genius, the division (Palm/Pocket PC) and the category (level). The body must contain the game score in PGN format, the PDA device with processor speed. All games submitted will be subject to verification. 7. Pondering should be off in all games. You may take as much time as you want to play the game. There is no rule against using computers or using "takebacks" (since it is unforceable) but please state if you did or did not get computer assistance or if you took back moves. You will not be penalized if you did. All winning entry games will be posted here on CCC and I think the reader should know "how" you won. 8. Prizes: Each winner will be choose from my collection of chessgames - any volume of the Chess Informant Series (Volume 1 through 87) in pgn format un-annotated (since I do not own copyright - sorry). This pgn file will fit on any PDA with 1 MB of space or less. The prize will be e-mailed to you. 9. All decisions made by me regarding this contest are final and are not subject to appeal. You will also earn CCC bragging rights! 10. You understand that not all Palms/PocketPCs/Cell Phones are created equal and you may have a device that does not allow you mate Genius as quickly as another device. Rather than to be upset, be proud that your pda is a little "tougher" to beat. 11.
