Hello everyone, By automatically tuning the evaluation function, I mean two things: 1. adjusting the scores given to particular evaluation features (eg rook on open file) 2. modifying the list of evaluation features (by creating new/removing old features) in an entirely automatic process. Just wondering who actually does this? Any authors of strong (anyone amonst the top 20 or so amateur engines, plus the commercials) engines? Joel
