Hi Uri In fact, upgrades aren't always much better, they fix bugs but they are susceptible of creating other ones. As i said before, i appreciate the efforts of the Fritz team by giving us new engines because they make me personally enjoy a new engine (even it's not so much different from the previous version). I also find that it takes so much time for Shredder's team for example to release their product. I must say that these products are always excellent with a very very few known bugs if not existing. This could be also a winning strategy but the strategy of fritz is also good. Who could have the greatest number of free beta testers!? It's certainly not possible unless you release different free upgrades for registered users. This is my point of view. It's not certainly the best but i appréciate the fact to have many different top engines that we could test and then analyse games.
