If I was going to get a new commercial engine, I would get one that has
something extra to offer. The Lokasoft engines come with the full version of
ChessPartner. Rebel supports Winboard. Sjeng supports Winboard and UCI. Shredder
supports UCI, and it is obviously super strong. I would get one of those: Sjeng,
Rebel, Tiger (Lokasoft), or Shredder. Junior and Hiarcs definitely have
interesting playing styles though, and you mentioned wanting something
"different".
