Here's the current position of Fritz v. Kasparov. [D]r5k1/1pp2rbq/p2p4/P2Ppn1p/1PP1R1p1/3Q4/1B2RPPP/5NK1 w - - 0 26 Now here's the position that Larry Christiansen was able to get against CM9000 in almost exactly the same way that Garry is proceeding now. [D]8/p1p5/Pp1p2nk/1P1Bq1r1/2P1Pprp/1Q6/5RPP/5R1K w - - 0 53 Obviously, quite a lot of similarities. I think that Garry's current time pressure (he only has 26 minutes remaining for his next 15 moves) could be VERY crucial. jm
