I imagine the pressure he was under in the 48 game Karpov match was much greater than this four game computer match, and he handled that quite well. He has seemed to be a little hesitant, or unsure, always second guessing himself and trying to double check everything against the computers ever since his loss to Deep Blue. So maybe you are right, at least in regards to computers.
