I never wrote that Fritz didn't play this game better than Kasparov.

I just wrote Fritz didn't play great chess.
IMO white had strategical advantage after 17...g5. White had the important
square e4 under control and blacks bishop was not very active.
Probably Fritz failed to enlarge his advantage.
