Yasser is very strong, but this might be too much for him, and Karpov is prone to error against computers. Polgar, I just don't know...she ran into serious trouble with Deep Blue about 10 years ago, and also lost to Fritz 5.32 more recently, so I can't say if any of these choices are any better. Playing machines today is very difficult when you're use to playing mostly humans, and of course the reverse is true, most of the time. Computers are solid and accurate, humans are strong, imaginative and unpredictable. I'd like Anand to make a go of it, even Kramnik again. Smirin, who has been mentioned might be a great choice, but he's not well known to the average chess player, let alone the general public. Terry
