I'm just wondering if Kaspy isn't a little freaked out by the 3D graphics. When I play, I find that changing the pieces on a 2D board is enough to unsettled me for several games. Plus, let's face it, the 3D boards on just about any commercial product are pretty bad. I'm no fan of Kasparov, but any 3D simulation that I've ever seen gets pretty annoying and distracting after awhile. And it's not like he can complain about it, because then he'd be complaining about the sponsor's MAIN PRODUCT LINE. Fritz X3D would just die on the shelves if Kasparov complained about quality. So he can't take that direction. Under time pressure, faced with playing chess in a novel and possibly annoying sensory experience, it's no wonder Kasparov cracked. And don't get me wrong, I think the ever-arrogant Kasparov certainly has his lumps coming. But I'm not sure that the play in this match will be representative of his ability. Has anyone here actually SEEN the X3D board with their own eyes? Roger
