Yes Kasparov is a great "Leader" and sponsor of chess. He is the reason it is so popular today. He brought in many new fans....blah blah blah... The bottom line is this: He was presented with a $$ offering to play chess against a computer with KNOWN game conditions (wearing glasses). When he loses a game against the machine his comment is "I was outplaying the computer until I blundered. Everyone says that machines play great chess, but it isnt so." Seems a bit like sour grapes to me...from the "leader of chess"? Then he went on to complain that the glasses distracted him. Nobody likes a complainer and especially one that complains when they lose. DONT SIGN UP FOR THE MATCH IF THE CONDITIONS ARE AN ISSUE! Ed
