Apology NOT accepted, because you didn't do anything wrong!

The sentiment is certainly appreciated however.  It's amazing that
you can apologize for precieving yourself to be off topic while
others practically commit homicide without batting an eye!

But I have posted a couple of times about Linux and I'm sure my
enthusiasm shows.  Probably I even have more to "apologize" about
than you, but I didn't notice that anyone was out of line.

It is pretty normal to talk about issues related to computer chess
on this group and this most certainly was related.   The only thing
strongly discouraged is personal attacks and I saw none, did you?
