In the link below (near the bottom) , there is a rare picture of Jaques Mieses, seated on the right, here during a match with Akiba Rubinstein in Berlin 1909. http://www.chessbase.com/newsdetail.asp?newsid=1283 What is interesting is that the large board in the background has the board of the bottom 3 ranks. Well for those that might it find interesting, here is the exact position and the game that was being played at the time the picture was shot. There are not too many pictures from this time period that one can tell exactly the position and the game as it was shot as there is usually not enough detail to clearly display the position.
