A poet in the room !!! Please, all, stand up!!! .. :)))) ................................. The only sad part is, that (as far as I understand) the cyclotrons as it stands are searching for the last, basic, heavy particle .. even if found, the theory of the *fileds* will not go much further (will it?!). The relation enery-matter and matter-energy is some what ambiguous. The again what exactly is matter?! Gravity would remain to be a mistery. The creation of the universe would not become clearer. The unified theory is way overly complicated(for me!) and adding yet another dimension in order to solve(or retain) certain symmetry, is just going to make *it* totaly out of control( no ?!)......... So, I do believe if people go back to the pencil and paper, for a moment(!), it might be a good, positive move for everybody including the hair-dresser-> He(she) might come-up with a new style instead of just enjoing the beautiful lines of the super model :))) and continuing to poor coffee on the floor. I like your post, though ... its sort of romantic in a *nerdy*, *geeky* sort of way !!! best regards and cheers. hristo
