Kasparov could do all these portions by heart! That was one really super achievement, ingenious. Nowadays we have data bases, which contain some million games of chess! The large masters of the present study such portions, because the portions are offered each week e.g. in the InterNet freely for the Download. I get myself likewise each week these portions (usually per week about 1000-2000) and study it. I study it however less because of possible innovations in the initial phase, but I look for practical examples of computer chess. For the masters however the innovations of the opening variants are very important! A chess master such as Kasparov can store very many such variants in its memory, many thousands! Now it is however so that one also for chess programs such master portions likewise studied, and the best become in enormous opening books stored. In pressure format such would fill a today's book in my room, at least a whole shelf, if that is enough at all? And nevertheless: A genius such as Kasparov is able to find many more than these unbelievably large electronic books. A Kasparov all courses of an electronic book, it white however which the good and the which the bad courses are white probably not - and it selects then out! The opening knowledge of a Kasparov obtained thus a clearly better effectiveness, as an electronic book. Shouldn't one appreciate such an achievement? I think already! Today in a computer chess forum criticism at the opening book was practiced nevertheless by X3D Fritz, instead of appreciating great being able from Kasparov to. That is very unfortunate, finds I! Kasparov found nevertheless an improvement of a portion, which is old over 50 years during the play, which were played believe it or not in the year 1948! I find that simply ingenious. Unfortunately was not appreciated, but from what white I for reasons (?), became excuses for the computer chess program searched, which did not however only play in the opening wrongly, but as it were each course in portion!
