The most important for me are to generate all forward EPD strings and to generate the EPD strings for the pv Some other tools of note are David Barnes' PGN Extract Utility which will do all sorts of notation transformations, the SAN toolkit in crafty, and Rémi Coulom's PGN to EPD converter.
