Discussion has been concentrated in what IF black play moves something to prepare f5 and a punch there, but in fact black had a better plan before the silly Bd6 with Nxpb, pxp, BxB, Qxb, then Qxp. So you have two pawns for a horse, space for rolling the queen pawns, a sortie for the queen bishop and some appearance of a fight. There are even tactical chances in the sheer aglomeration of whites pieces that can be attacked by moving pawns. Not enough for fighting kasparov? Sure, but enough to make a fight instead of a long and silly agony. Fernando
