I have noticed that running win 2003 (maybe like XP pro?) results in slower
execution, after time, than XP.  I don't know if XP is doing something with
cache that 2003 isn't, or what.  Is your other machine also running XP pro?
Have you checked the performance settings (optimize for app performance rather
than system)?
