That's kind of like telling someone to just run for president if they don't like the guy who is there. Very few have the millions of dollars it requires, or the political influence. If I had the money that the ICGA required from the host of the event (what is it? $100,000?), then I wouldn't have any problems making it to Europe every year, now would I? I could just pay for about 20 people to travel to Europe to participate instead. Or I could just run my own event and have a big prize fund, which the participants would no doubt appreciate.
