Next week is the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US, one of the two most revered holidays we have (Christmas being #1 of course). Whatever idiot chose to take the _entire_ Thanksgiving week for this event deserves the "moron of the year" award for all time... If it were held in the USA I would not attend a tournament _next_ week. Here, Thanksgiving is a time when families gather. Not scatter to the four corners of the planet to play chess... Just goes to show how _far_ out of touch the ICGA really is nowadays...
