I could certainly be "serious".  I have tested on a pretty big machine
more than once.  Of course I have won two of the things already, if that
matters.

In the case of CCT vs WCCC it might be equal or better.  At least it will
do more to foster interest in computer chess around the world than the
ICCA event with its miniscule list of participants...
