Hello!
IMO, strength is not all,and style must be considered;
each engine has its favourite openings:
if you are "QGD" you can choose hiarcs9
if you are "gambit" , only junior7 can satisfy you, if you can find it :
it's the lone engine that play a speculative piece sacrifice in the opening
to be convinced you might visit:
   critcalchess@yahoogroups.com
the problem is that junior7 is no more on sale , but it is posssible to find it
here and there; else ChessTiger15 is the best ersatz
shredder7 and junior8 stand in-between ,the first being more "serious",
junior8 more "fun" but not so much as junior7
now, make your choice!
