On my system, Rebel 10 and MCP 8 run at 640x480. Coincidentally, my MONITOR
supports only 60 Hz refresh at this resolution, causing flicker.

(I have a Virge. And the refresh is SET to 75 Hz. But the monitor won't support
it.)

The DOS program edit.com runs at 640x400, 75 Hz, and doesn't flicker.

A subdued, greytones color scheme (which is my favorite anyway) helps so much,
that I don't notice this flicker.
