I don't see the logic in paying ICGA gobs of money. What do you get in return? I'm sure there are *some* overhead costs, which makes having some stable, organizing body a requirement if the event is going to be more than a one or two time thing, but many tens of thousands of dollars? If we found a sponsor, or raised that money ourselves, couldn't we just run a kick ass tournament, with a prize fund, and have significant money left over? I think we could run numerous tournaments per year for the price ICGA asks for.
