That would be fun :) But, it wouldn't be as big of a deal. A lot of people have
familes and can't commit a weekend a month to that. Then there are the
differences in time zones. Someone in the world is going to have to play in the
middle of the night, and I don't think anyone wants to do that once a month and
then try to make it to work on Monday :) I think 2-4 times per year would be
optimal. Maybe one or two of those events could be blitz. We could get a lot of
games in a shorter time period.

I sure would love to see GM Smirin participate in the WCCC-like event, and see
how he finished against all of those beasts!
