Hello!
Between junior7 and junior8, there is more than a difference: quite a world;
For junior7 is really unique by its style; not only it is tactically very strong
, but it has something more: it can produce "brillancy prizes" by dozens
 if only the opening is favourable:to be convinced, you may visit the website
           criticalchess@yahoogroups.com
 now , in a QGD , when there is nothing to combine , itcomes out of the
middlegame one or 2 pawns down , and , of course loses
 in gambit play , junior7 is able to win every other program: I have several
wins against shredder7 , fritz8 , hiarcs8 and hiarcs9 ,and ChessTiger
in tests as SSDF , junior7 is handicaped by its poor results in QGD orthodox
If only it could be improved in position play without losing its combination
skill , I am sure that it would fill the first place
 I was to send a strong call to Amir Ban to develop an improved version of
 junior7
I seize this oportunity to launch this call!
Friendly Yours
Claude Le Page
PS in gambit play, junior7 is slightly but significantly stronger than junior8
