Subject: Human Limitations Not Apply to Software

Author: Bob Durrett

Date: 08:42:19 11/20/03

It took hundreds of years for humans to develop today's highly-touted opening
"theory."

Software designed to develop new openings might surpass human "theory" in just a
matter of a year or two if put to work ASAP. [More than one computer might be
involved.]

This presumes that someone develops and operates software to develop new
openings via a learning process.

Implementing this on a really big super computer(s) might produce a "bigger and
better" opening "theory" [i.e. a complex book] in "no time flat."

Put that idea in your pipe and smoke it! : )
