It's all about money. Fritz is not the best program. It's really easy to beat a computer nowadays, all you must do is play some anti-computer strategy, like E. Nemeth has showed this here many times, and he's not a GM... Kasparov just beated Fritz easily when he wanted to win the game. I really don't like the criteria used to choose the human opponent - just being #1 rated player... because Kasparov is not interested in winning or losing, he just needs the money. Taking a player like Radjabov or Ponomoriov would be by far more interesting as a match. Take Kortchnoi for a great match! He would crush the machine... and accept no easy draws! Kasparov would loose to a Pepsi machine if paid to loose. Well, he has already been kicked by the Pepsi machine anyway... A. Ponti
