Well, Bob has a track record. He has played on such supercomputers and other very good hardware. This leads me to believe that his chances of getting such superior hardware (something he has done on multiple occassions) are not anywhere close to the chances of him getting everyone to agree to knight odds (something no one has ever done in a WCCC). As he has already said, he is not "backing up his claim" not because he can't, but because it's in the middle of teaching, during a holiday, and halfway around the world.
