since CA reads all CBh files. there is no 'quality of games issue' especially since sourcing pretty much comes from twic. cb cannot read ca files tho. the more programming skills you have, the more attractive CA becomes, but both have their merits and ca gives you more for the money. ca is good for programmers because it has scripting, can alos parse relative expressions within games to run training exercises when you read games. I prefer to read games in ca because it deals with vaiations from text in a cleaner way than cb jumps-- morew of an explorer style navigation in and out of variations----i can read annotations faster this way. in terms of money ca costs less than cb but includes chesstiger, and an icc interface. Cb has lots more chatting/coaching functions during play and talk files. ca will never advise you against your move during a game,eg.
