Subject: PowerMac G5 second take

With the availability of the Dual 1.8 Ghz G5 systems, Apple updated _their_
benchmark page:

http://www.apple.com/powermac/performance/

They now also compare with a Dell Precision 650 Dual 3.2 Ghz Xeon and an
Alienware Aurora 2.2Ghz AMD Athlon 64 FX-51. Naturally (for an Apple site), both
of these systems get competely toasted by the G5. i.e. HMMER (biological
software using hidden markoff model matrices) outperforms the Athlon64 by 134%.

Ouch :-)
