It could be done in the way Dave Kittinger did it in back at the
beginning of the 80's, in the Constellation series, by using the PSH (pre scan
heuristics?).  You probably remember that Uli?

Bob Hyatt has certainly coded that type of knowledge into Crafty.  Crafty has
played more human players than any existing computer program... on ICC.  That's
why I think that Crafty could have put one hell of a fight against GK...
