Information From Vincent about Diep's Setup

Hardware - SGI origin 3800 which has a total of 1024 processors

- Diep is using the biggest partition of 512 processors
- MIPS R14000
- 1 terabyte/sec  speed for i/o
- 1 terabyte/sec speed bandwidth
- 1 terabyte in total for EGTBs (1,000 GB) (thats many 6 men)

"effectively the machine is about 50 times faster than a PC"
