DIEP had one or two chances for reaching a clearly won position. For example, it shouldn't have exchanged the rooks. b4 would have resulted in a clear win in my opinion. Up to the point where Falcon lost a pawn, it was practically playing against itself, as it expected _all_ the moves of DIEP (in its ponder move).
