I'm aware of eboard, I don't think its suited for GUI for chess engines. The main purpose of eboard is to connect to chess servers. I just tried jose again, and it seems much more stable now than when I tried it the last time. Since then I have opgraded from Redhat 8.0 to Fedora 1.0 and this has probably helped. The only problem I have so far is to change the colors of the board. So I recommend you check it out. It's very easy to install. http://jose-chess.sourceforge.net/ Martin.
