Hi

may be the author need that hardware which he had used it for past tournament
and won

secondly,winning does not depend on what hardware the program uses

Thirdly, Fritz'z latest upgraded version upgraded from fritz 8.0.0.23 is the
strongest(i gues its X3d Fritz)
Shredder has no recent updates

lastly, Fritz played white against shredder which gives an adantage for the
latter over the board
