Hello,

We have to try to get the dimensions right here.

In many parts of the world people are suffering in a way not comprehensible to
most of us "Westerners". Did you ever go hungry for more than two weeks for
example ? I didnt. Can you imagine what it means to starve to death ? I
certainly can not.
What is happening during a war is equally horrible.

Now there is currently a (post-?)war going on for which the western world is at
least partly responsible.
Please note that I am not saying the war is "bad" or "(not?) justified" , I am
just stating the fact that without the USA and Great Britain there would not be
that war.

Now since war always means incredible suffering for some people(see above), I
believe no one who is even remotely responsible (that includes me) has the right
to close his eyes before this suffering.
If we accept that people suffer horrible deaths I expect us to at least be men
enough to soberly witness that suffering, to understand what is happening. To
accept the hate this can provoke.

While people are dying no one has the right to sit in his garden and tend the
flowers, and expect not to be disturbed. And I furthermore believe that everyone
who maybe feels this suffering a bit more than others has the right to provoke
those tending the flowers a bit more than usual.
