In my own experience with making books,
no matter what database you gather and learn from,  it all comes down to what
the program is best at, and what it likes.  I took a database of all the games
from 1990-2002,  from 2650 rated players or higher,  and learned from that.  It
was 'ok'  but the biggest jump I had in program performance cause of my books is
that I made a massive openning book 500mb,  and turned my program lose on the
playchess server for a month,

big book, with lots of learning time will do you good
