Subject: Is this match really proving anything? NOT Really :-)

One game doesn't mean that BRUTUS is stronger than Fritz or Shredder whatever
the outcome is today. In order to know which program is better there would have
to be at least 10 games played against each other or a minimum of double
round robin against each program. Let me give you an axample: If you have 4
matches of 4 programs with a rating difference of no more than 30 rating points
you will have different result for each match. Let say this is your list of
programs:

1.Shredder 2.Quest or Fritz 3.Brutus 4.Deep Junior

Given this list of four programs if the match consits of only one game against
each program you will have one match result, which will be totally different
then the 2nd, 3rd and 4th result. In one match shredder could beat Brutus and
Brutus could beat Quest, and on the second match it could be the other way
around and so on......
