It contains lots of links to pages about chess programming. Go to each page, print it all out read it and then begin. When I first started to write a chess program it was because I simply could not find any related materal or coding so I just started writing subroutines to move the different types of pieces. Before long I realize that I had most of the coding done and only needed a driver. Of course, over the years I have rewritten the program over and over and will probably do it some more. It is like an addiction, you just can't quit. Good luck Bill
