I started doing it but I stopped after 5 minutes :-) > There is a much faster workaround to do this, using any test editor with the search and replace feature. This is how i do it. Just load the pgn into the text editor, use search and replace to replace all occurances of the thirteenth move number, 13. with an asterisk, *. Then i copy the games from this pgn into a temporary chessbase database, copy them back to an empty pgn file, and there you have it, all games truncated to 12 moves. It might also be possible to use programs other than chessbase interfaces, although i have only used Hiarcs, Fritz, etc. Regards Dave
