Crafty was suggesting it, while fritz (at least, although we probably had a rebel and who knows what else analyzing as well) was suggesting Qb6 winning a pawn. Someone (perhaps Tim, or perhaps Roman said that axb5 looked interesting although as soon as it was found that Qb6 won (or appeared to win) a pawn, attention shifted there until the axb5 move was played... The quote above was from some direct comment by Kasparov where he said that Be4 would only be played by a very few top-level GM players, and he specifically mentioned Kramnik as one name...
