You will also have noted that I detailed a complete workaround of the
problem "=" symbol in the exact same article. What I proposed was to
avoid the = symbol altogether and use the unclear/= symbol in it's
place. Then the backsolving algorithm does the job properly.
Unfortunately most of the optional books that are sold by Bookup use
the = symbol and you can't delete the symbols en masse so that if you
buy the books you need to disregard the symbols, but the symbols are a
major reason to buy the opening book in the first place besides the
comments. CDB a free program will build a repertoire. However the best
is CB 7 and then Junior 5 or Fritz 5 and then  Bookup. If you must print out
your repertoire then Bookup is best.  Read my article at the CCC or
