The average chess player isn't. You might play worse against humans if you do and you gain absolutely nothing. Experienced 2000-2200 rated chess players with a very quiet,positional style and some endgame knowledge should score on average much better than 2000-2200 rated tacticians who usually have zero chances against the machines.
