MCP 8 - in your Windows ME do a reboot to DOS mode and then just start MCP8.

Hiarcs 7, Genius 5 DOS - restart the computer and press the F8 button - start
Windows in protected mode.

You might consider to load a mouse driver.

To start H7 -> start it with -x
to Start Genius 5 -> start it with /x

Btw, I don't think there is much use to do this with Genius 5 - I'd just use the
Windows version if I were you.
