Thanks for asking.  The answer is slowly.  In the last year I've moved my family
from the UK to Philadelphia in the US, and started a new job.  So I haven't had
the time to do much chess programming.  But I have about 6k line of 'c' code
already written and initial estimates indicate that it should be about 50% to
100% faster than the Delphi version - mainly due to algorithic improvements but
some improvement due to the faster compiler code.  I'm hoping to have a playing
version ready within the next six months.  I'll then start to play on the ICC
and maybe even enter some competition - just for the hell of it of cpurse.
