Comparison Crafty 19.03 and List 5.40 (P4 1.8/32 MB hash) Test 1: level 120'/40 starting with 1st move without book Test 2: level 120'740 starting after 1.e4 without book Some observations: - different numer Kn/s - not identical evaluation - other main lines - not the same time management - different sorting of moves - moves played out are not identical Conclusion for me: List can't be a Crafty clone.
