Subject: Junior-Crafty hardware user experiment - 7th game

Author: Peter Berger

Date: 16:27:51 11/27/03

OK - this game would have deserved a better day to be posted and some on-game
comments of course. Though the pawn sac was done by the opening book this was
definitely Crafty's best game so far.
The compensation was the outside passer, something Crafty certainly holds dear.

As this day is positively spoilt when it is about computerchess I might as well
add my 2 cents to the public uproar. If I were Fritz Reul, especially if my
engine weren't even BitBoard I'd send a copy of my source code to Professor
Robert M. Hyatt. If there was one person on this planet I'd trust to not like to
see a wrong accuse of being a Crafty clone, it were him.
I'd also trust him to make it public in a sufficiently explicit way, and then
also treat my own code as private.

As Junior isn't involved - 28. ...h5?

(all comments without any warranty at all of course)

Standing: Junior 2 - Crafty 2 ( 3 draws)
